I’ve got to be one of THE most impatient people on this earth. I hate waiting, sitting in pool of unknowing. I’m one of those people that sees a problem and looks for an immediate solution. When I work towards something, I’m looking for immediate results. Being patient is not within me. I can be very difficult and annoying when things aren’t going my way at the immediate pace I expect. However, one of the things I’ve learned is not just that “everything happens for a reason” but that God’s timing has always been right on time. Granted, some times it may be longer than I’d like. But holding fast in the faith that God knows best, has helped me to get through some very challenging situations.
With every goal, there’s an action that needs to follow. If you have a blog and want more readers (me, me, me, me), you’ve got to create interesting content, promote your content, connect with readers, etc. Just because you have blog doesn’t mean those things will come automatically. It takes work. Everything requires active participation and patience.
I tell my children all the time “Positive Thinking Breeds Positive Results”, that in itself is proof that I need to take my own advice. If positivity breeds positivity, why do I think worry, fear, anxiety will breed anything more than worry, fear and anxiety? Ah ha moment.
“When you admit your fears, you will no longer be afraid” – R. Powell
I’m sharing this message not to preach to others (though it may help someone to read it), but because I NEED to hear it, see it, feel it, and accept it once and for all.
