There will always be rough periods in your life. They’re placed in your life to help build or restore your strength.
That Was Rough
My Buby loves to find treasures on the ground, much like her mama. I don’t ALWAYS keep them all I promise. But this one, I took from my pocket and set it in a cup. I had no idea as to it’s fate, that is until today. Life is stressful. Hard. Challenging and so many other things. But those times are placed in your life for a reason. To build up your strength and to remind you of it too. As I learn and grow, overcome and achieve it’s helpful to me to create friendly reminders. So that when I start to forget, I am reminded of where I’m from, where I’ve been, how far I’ve comes and encouraged to press forward to where I’m headed.
Call it what you may. A diamond in the rough or an imperfect symbol of an all encompassing struggle, survival and overcoming through faith. .
1 Thessalonians 5:18 “Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
I encourage you to look around you. Keep your eyes open both on the ground and up ahead. The messages are everywhere, you just have to pay attention. There are so many different ways to document life. By creating reminders for myself, I’m not only holding precious memories, but I’m making them serve an even greater purpose. When I am weakened, I will look to this rock and see that it’s bright, colorful, and sparkling. Yes, that period of my life, moment in my life, day in my life was rough, but I am still me, just even more beautiful.
Do you celebrate both big and small achievements?
How do you document them?
I’d love to hear about it. Leave me a comment below, let’s chat!
