Disclosure: As a member of the ClearSnap Guest Blogging Team, I receive product in exchange for my creative posts. No other compensation was received. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I was just updating my Guest Features for Brands Page when I realized, I hadn’t even made the official announcements yet. I’m a Guest blogger for ClearSnap, the makers of many deliciously vibrant, fun, inky products. I know what you’re thinking, but Rose, you’re a paper freak. Yes, but ink is a challenge. Am I right?
Guest Blogger for ClearSnap
Each month, I’ll be experimenting, I mean creating 4-5 projects for ClearSnap. Each project will feature ClearSnap products, in a colorfully inky inspired creative project. One of which is a color challeng. Each month an new mood board is featured for you to use as inspiration to create something amazing within that theme. You can also link up and enter to win prizes, so definitely check that out and consider participating. Here’s the May Color Challenge:
To kick the challenge up a notch, I created my 2nd full 12 x 12 layout ever in my entire life! This scrapbook layout features bold hues of yellow, pink, and teal, hearts and flowers. Perfect fit for the summery theme, especially since she’s sporting that “tropical hat”.
I’ve been drawn to flamingos lately. Perhaps it’s the ones I’ve seen in my neighbors yard, the signs of summer, or the adorable wood block stamp I received from ClearSnap. None the less, I love this quote “Be a FLAMINGO in a flock of pigeons”. I knew I wanted to use it to make something special. Inspirational mail is the best happy mail ever, so I created this Tie Dye Flamingo Card.
You can find both of these projects on the ClearSnap blog and keep an eye out for other creatively inspired inked projects in the future.
Do you create with a color scheme or theme in mind?
