Yesterday, I worked on these felt rosettes. I sat there literally picking apart this one in particular. I found many different reasons to not “love it”. So I tried to changed it. Nip, snip, clip, paint, transplant, implant, tear apart. As I sat there doing all this I came to the realization that I did love it after all. At that moment, I realized what beautiful love meant. No matter what I changed about it, it was still a rosette. It was still beautiful. I absolutely without any further scrutiny loved it.
Hi, my name is Rose. I am much like this rosette. I’ve poked, prodded, and nitpicked. I changed. I grew. I blossomed into a woman who absolutely has nothing but happiness and love in her heart for life and for herself. Self-love is beautiful love and I couldn’t be happier than I’ve finally found it.
